Pardon my random rants

Thu Aug 16, 2007, 2:44 PM
Hi everyone, would like to say I appreciate everyone tolerating my recent rants. I try to always stay upbeat and be positive. What has been great about my recent "roller coaster" ride is that I have found I can act out emotions, portray things or other people through my photography.

Don't get me wrong I am in no way close to being expert or professional. However, I have finally found a way for the actress, painter and over all artist out through my :camera: lens.

Thanks to all of you and especially my daughter. AKA DA member: ComeonCloser016

Today

Mon Aug 13, 2007, 4:27 PM
Today is a god day, I guess. I have been sick with a bad cold other than that ok. Was back at work today but home early because I still felt bad.

I was only able to get a few photos lately so I put them up, I had fun with them though. Thanks for listening.

Tired long day

Thu Aug 9, 2007, 4:52 PM
Well we got my nephew off on his flight I wish I could say without a hitch but..... apparently even though we were 30 minutes before the flight. They wouldn't allow my nephew on the flight bc the doors had been closed. Come to find out they weren't but they rescheduled his flight and he is now home.

Not without heartache and headache, but all of us had a wonderful visit and can't wait for another one.

I also managed to get so good photos which helped me clam down and work thru "my art" I guess. I think I managed to get a couple IN FOCUS shots of flowers. Maybe someone who sees them can tell me what they think.

Thanks for listening.

Down :(

Tue Aug 7, 2007, 7:08 PM
I think tonight is a bad night. Don't get me wrong I am still in love with taking pictures. Just things here have been so stressful.

You see my nephew has been visiting the past two weeks. He is the son of my baby brother who was killed 5 years ago on the 17th of this month. I was praying that he would be here to stay and his mom move up later. However, that is not going to happen I think I knew this deep down but chances were slim. See I am in the middle of the US he lives on the East Coast. So we rarely see each other and I miss him so.

I know part of it is I also miss his dad and as the anniversary of his death comes closer it just bring up certain emotions.

I guess it has just been hard lately and I wanted to vent.

Addicted

Thu Aug 2, 2007, 9:07 PM
I am addicted to photography I am having fun and learning gradually. One part I have problems with is making sure I categorize my work correctly. I still haven't figured out how to make an avatar.

I just about have paid off enough on my credit card to become a subscribed member. Although I am always seeing contests that advertise prizes a being a full year subscription. I have looked into these but everyone is so much better at this.

I am so eager to learn just don't know where to start.
